Our Company
Coastal Metals Limited specializes in fabrication, welding and metal forming for duct work, panel work, structural steel and access steel along with a broad range of specialty fabrication projects. With an annual fabrication capacity of up to 5,000 tons, we can provide fabricated steel for even the largest of projects.
We are a custom steel fabrication company offering a wide variety of products for local, domestic and international clients and are certified to CSA Standard W47.1, Div. 2 covering mild steel and stainless steel fabrication, and are also AWS-D1.1 compliant.
To better serve our American clients, we are also AISC certified.
Work alongside our clientele to identify every aspect of the project where we can mitigate down time, erection flaws, logistics obstacles & oversights.
Our History
Coastal Metals Limited began operations in 1995 and has expanded steadily in size to the present date and is proud to have a privately owned modern fabrication shop, complete with office facilities to house technical and administrative staff. Our plant is conveniently located just off of highway 11 which is one of the main arteries through New Brunswick and we are only a few minutes away from a local rail siding and the deep water Port of Belledune. We offer to our customers the combined efforts of our highly skilled production and technical staff who are devoted to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Welding Supervisors, Administrators, CWB Inspectors, TC1A/AWS/CGSB NDE Technicians all collaborate to guarantee the quality of finished goods.
The stringent processes involved in maintaining our CSA and AISC certifications keep Coastal Metals diligent in consistently adopting the most modern inspection and in-process techniques.
